July Event: IFS tools for PAT In this lunch and learn, educator and therapist Leia Friedwoman, M.S. offers the Elemental Community a brief introduction to Internal Family Systems (IFS), a trauma-sensitive modality that is widely regarded as complementary to psychedelic work. Attendees will leave with 4 key IFS tools they can practice as they support their clients throughout the preparation, journey and integration process. 

Leia Friedwoman, M.S. loves to connect the dots as an educator, writer, and IFS-informed practitioner. She has 15 years of experience supporting clients in a trauma-sensitive, somatic, developmentally informed, relational container. Social and environmental justice inform Leia's lens on therapeutic work, as she orients to 'healing' and the body as both deeply personal and collective. Her activist work in the psychedelic space has spanned community harm reduction, decriminalization advocacy, survivor support, and responses to harm rooted in transformative justice. She hosts a podcast called The Psychedologist: consciousness positive radio.
