Honoring the Lineage of Mushroom Medicine

Join Elemental Psychedelics in Oaxaca, Mexico, for an 8-day intensive journey designed to deepen your competency in culturally responsive, ethical, and self-aware psilocybin mushroom facilitation. This is more than a training; it's an embodied, culturally immersive experience that pays homage to the land and the people who are the portal to mushroom medicine in the West.

While psilocybin mushrooms grow across the globe and have been utilized by countless lineages, Oaxaca holds a truly special significance. It is the historical entry point for the West’s access to mushroom medicine as we know it today.

This immersion is an invitation to connect with the rich Zapotec history, culture, and tradition that is intrinsically linked to the spirit of the medicine.

Our program is built on a foundation of cultural humility and reciprocal relationships. This immersion is a sincere act of reciprocity, honoring the wishes of an elder who Elemental’s Clinical Director, Dori Lewis, has built a relationship with over the last several years. The family matriarch explicitly requests to be involved in the cultural moment of the psychedelic renaissance by welcoming participants to meet her family and spend time in her community. We are listening to the heart of this elder's request, bringing people to her community as a way to respect and honor her wishes, and the family lineage tied to Elemental’s work.
