About the event

In the evolving landscape of natural medicine in Colorado, "following the rules" is just the beginning. Ethical diligence requires developing a strong ability to navigate the gray areas where boundaries blur and ethical integrity is clarified.

In this free webinar, join Dori Lewis, Micah Stover, and Dylan Rivard to explore real-life examples of subtle boundary violations from the field and what it takes to recover from them. This is a free 1-hour CE webinar that aims to deconstruct common ethical missteps and explore how to hold a stronger, deeper container for your clients. Following the webinar, we'll send you a certificate for your 1 hour Ethics CE, good towards natural medicine facilitator licensure renewal in Colorado.

In this webinar, we will also preview our new 4-hour Advanced Ethics Continuing Education series, featuring deep dives into:

  • Inner Ethics with Christianne Pelmas

  • Dynamic Informed Consent with Dylan Rivard

  • Subtle Boundary Violations with Micah Stover

  • The Nuance of Touch and Ethics with Laia Jorba

Our 4-hour Advanced Ethics CE series is entirely self-paced and virtual, designed to satisfy DORA’s annual ethics requirements for licensed natural medicine facilitators.

Dylan Rivard, LPC
Dylan Rivard, LPC

Dylan Rivard (he/his) was born in the forests of Indiana, and grew up playing in creeks, catching fireflies, and wondering whether or not dragons really did live in the leaves of the trees in his backyard. Raised in a spiritually eclectic household, Dylan developed a lifelong fascination with prayer, ritual, healing, and our connection to the divine and nature. This led him to pursue work in outdoor recreation, psychology, and spirituality, culminating in a MA in Transpersonal Psychotherapy with a Wilderness Therapy focus from Naropa University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado, a Certified Hakomi Therapist, and a natural medicine facilitator. He has trained with the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute (PRATI), and assisted in the Integrative Psychiatry Institute’s Psychedelic Therapy Certification. He serves as faculty for trainings with both Elemental Psychedelics and The Congregation of Sacred Practices. He runs a private practice where he serves clients working through trauma, grief, and spiritual growth.
