Julie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), an EMDR Approved Consultant, an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Provider, and the founder of Denver Metro Counseling. She started her career in Public Health working in suicide prevention and in 2005 transitioned into Mental Health. 

Julie completed Integrative Psychiatry Institute's Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Program in 2022 and incorporates ketamine assisted psychotherapy with some clients as indicated further connecting people to their intuitive knowing. She receives Psiocybin Facilitation training and consultation through Elemental Psychedelics and is currently a Licensed Facilitator in Training through the State of Colorado's Natural Medicine Division. Julie is affiliated with Reflective Healing in Fort Collins where she holds psilocybin journeys.
