Tali Wertheimer

Tali Wertheimer, MA, is an integrative psychotherapist with advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Somatic Psychotherapy. She holds a master’s degree in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University and is also trained as both a meditation and yoga teacher. Tali’s therapeutic approach is rooted in embodiment and spirituality, weaving together trauma-informed modalities with a deep respect for the wisdom of the body and psyche. In addition to her clinical training, she has extensive experience with plant medicines, cultivating a decade-long personal relationship with ayahuasca in the Shipibo lineage. She is trained in somatic psychedelic facilitation and brings this background to her work with clients exploring expanded states of consciousness. As a queer, first-generation American, Tali brings lived experience and cultural sensitivity to her practice. She specializes in supporting individuals navigating trauma, identity exploration, sexuality, grief, and major life transitions. Tali works collaboratively with clients to create a compassionate and grounded therapeutic space where healing can unfold in connection to both inner and transpersonal resources. Her work bridges modern psychotherapeutic practices with contemplative and indigenous traditions, offering an integrative path toward resilience, wholeness, and authentic self-expression.
